This week we
have learnt how to use the grid method to multiply a three digit number by a one
digit number. Draw a grid for each sum and complete as many of the questions
below as you can in 20 minutes.

the answer.
3. Draw the
grid as shown.

4. Multiply
- starting with the hundreds –
remember
your place value.
5. Add up
using the column method.
6. Go back
and check your answer against the estimate
