This week we have been looking at different poetry techniques. E.g. similes, rhyme, alliteration, personification and repetition. In art we created a journey from England to Egypt exploring different ways to travel and discussing different countries we might pass through.
For home learning children should write a poem about travelling to Egypt.
Think about: How long might it take? How might you feel? What might you see on the way?
It could be titled “Are we nearly there yet!”
