This week
the children have been using a number line to add and subtract. For home
learning the children should use a number line to find the difference between
two numbers, by counting from the smaller number to the bigger number.
S2S:
1. Write the
sum and draw a number line.
2. Start at the
smallest number – count in ones to the next ten.
- Count in
tens to the 100
- Count to the
bigger number
3. Add the
numbers together to complete the answer to the question.
