Learning Mrs Hall W/E 15/5/15
This week we
have been using our maths knowledge to answer a variety of word questions.
Children need to know the following facts:

millimetres = 1 centimetre 100
centimetres = 1 metre 1000 metres = 1 kilometre
1000mililitres
= 1 Litre
There are,
15 minutes = 1/4 of an hour, 30 minutes = 1/2 an hour, 45 minutes = 3/4 of an
hour, 60 minutes in 1 hour.
Children
also need to learn all of their tables and be able to recite them with
confidence.
Please help
your children to learn these facts and encourage them to recite their tables
daily. A 144 grid has been included which children should complete. I am happy
to provide further copies at any time.
