This week we have been learning to draw and interpret graphs. The children have been asked to add up the tallies on the chart and draw a bar graph using an appropriate scale to fit on the paper provided. Children should use a ruler and pencil to draw their graph as carefully as possible.
If your child does not have the sheet please ask for a new one on Monday.
In addition the children have all been shown how to log onto their page on the active learn primary site in order to play some maths games. This will support the learning of the children but is not a compulsory part of home learning. However judging by the reactiion of the children when they saw the site today they will probably enjoy the interactive games. I will monitor the site and set further activities each week.
