World book day

Yesterday the children had lots of fun at the Hogwarts School for witches and wizards. After being sorted into house groups, we tried some wand swishing in maths, looked at story openings in English, played quidditch and made some wonderful house shields in groups. I hope the children all use their book tokens to collect a free book or put the money towards a book of their choice. If it inspired any  children to read the Harry Potter books then that will be a brilliant conclusion to the day.
