This week
the children have planned their own, five chapter, story set in Ancient Egypt.
This is intended to be a detailed piece of writing containing facts about
Ancient Egypt within the context of an adventure story. We will be writing the story in class after half term. However a
story cannot be written without first being told. Please could your child use
his / her story hill to tell their story using as much detail as possible.
Please ask questions to support your child’s understanding and to help them
sequence events in their mind.
EXT: Draw a
sequence of five small pictures to accompany the story, which will also help
your child gain a good understanding of the story sequence.
